Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement
Editors' Responsibilities:
The editors bear the responsibility of assessing the suitability of submitted papers for the journal. This assessment is based on criteria such as (a) the quality of the manuscript, (b) alignment with the journal's aims and purposes, and (c) the integrity of the work. Editors evaluate the intellectual merit of manuscripts without considering the author's gender identity, gender, nationality, or place of origin. Information about a submitted manuscript is accessible only to the corresponding author, reviewers or potential reviewers, and other editorial board members. All manuscripts under consideration for publication undergo peer review by at least two subject-matter experts, as determined by the editors.
Reviewers' Obligations:
Peer review plays a pivotal role in editorial decisions and the improvement of manuscript quality. Reviewers should identify any similarities with previously published works and highlight significant publications that have not been referenced. If reviewers feel unqualified or unable to promptly conduct the review, they should inform the editors immediately. Reviewers must treat submitted manuscripts as confidential material and refrain from sharing or discussing them with third parties without the Editor-in-Chief's permission. Any manuscripts involving a conflict of interest should be excluded from review. Reviewers will face disciplinary action for misconduct, including breaches of confidentiality, delays in peer review, conflicts of interest, and plagiarism.
Authors' Responsibilities:
Authors are responsible for ensuring the authenticity of their work, confirming it has not been submitted, accepted, or published in any language previously. They must avoid exploring publication elsewhere. Authors need to consider the presentation of their manuscript, compliance with publication regulations, and the inclusion of citations for prior research in the field. Authors must acknowledge conflicts of interest that could impact the findings and interpretation of the manuscript and disclose all funding sources. Reviewers' reports should be promptly sent to the authors, typically within three weeks. The study should involve co-authors representing individuals who significantly contributed to its conceptualization, strategy, implementation, data analysis, and conclusion. Authors must promptly inform the journal editor of any material flaws discovered in previously published work for correction or withdrawal.
Publishers' Responsibilities:
In cases of plagiarism, fraudulent publishing, or scientific misconduct, the publisher will collaborate with the editorial board to take necessary actions, including clarification of the issue, publication of an erratum, or withdrawal of the disputed work.
