Impact of New Education Policy 2020 on Higher Education

Abstract

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a comprehensive reform initiative launched by the Government of India to revamp the educational landscape of the country. At its core, NEP 2020 aims to establish an inclusive, flexible, multidisciplinary, and learner-centric system that aligns with the needs of the 21st-century knowledge economy. This article provides a detailed examination of the policy's implications for higher education in India.
