The explosive growth of cloud computing has revolutionized IT infrastructure, providing scalability, agility, and cost efficiency. But the increased use has also broadened the attack surface and made cloud systems vulnerable to new cyberthreats. Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially machine learning (ML) techniques are regarded as a key enabler towards enhancing cloud security. In this paper, we study how AI can be used to mitigate cyber security threats by detecting unusual behaviors, recognizing potential threats and responding to threats in the minute of second scale. A system analysis paper of Cloud infrastructure AC/DC utilising AI enabled security systems by investigation cybersecurity challenges in current and new threat scenarios. Our findings suggest that with AI, we can significantly improve the efficacy in detection and counterattacks on zero day, insider threat or DDoS attacks. also address the challenges associated with AI in the context of cloud security, such as the requirement of continuous model training, data privacy issues and the threat of adversarial attacks on AI models. Finally, the paper proposes research topics to maximize AI model efficiency and facilitate their integration with current cloud security tools. Utilizing AI to Help Secure the Cloud As the nature of cyber threats continues to evolve, companies can immensely strengthen their cloud perimeters with the help of AI.
