An enormous surge in cybercrimes has made cybersecurity a top concern on a global scale, impacting vital companies and infrastructures all over the globe. Attacks against cloud platforms, IoT systems, and industrial control systems have increased dramatically, with a focus on India. The increasing complexity of security breaches is highlighted by a thorough examination of cybercrime data by area, industry, and time period, which highlights the critical need for cybersecurity frameworks driven by artificial intelligence. These worrying tendencies are brought to light in this work, which further proves that sophisticated threat detection systems are required. Our extensive user survey included a wide range of sectors, from information technology and banking to healthcare and critical infrastructure, and its purpose was to shed light on the practical consequences of cybersecurity risks. In order to assess the present security picture, identify existing gaps, and identify adoption barriers of AI-driven solutions, the poll solicited responses from cybersecurity experts and IT stakeholders.
